Our Vision & Mission
PractiCali Law is the intersection of experiences from both employment law and human resources.
We envision a business ecosystem in which employers are able to confidently navigate complex workforce issues while maximizing the success of its people. We understand that the law is but one piece of a very intricate equation, and that the right path forward must take into account all of the variables that are in motion.
Therefore, our mission is to provide practical HR and employment law solutions by incorporating real-world experience.
HR Professional / Attorney
Siri Cody Mu, Esq., PHR
Siri is a California attorney experienced in both employment litigation and all facets of HR. He began his dual legal/HR career as a law clerk at Dolan Law Firm, one of California's most prominent employment practices. There, his work during all stages of litigation gave him broad insight into employment litigation strategy and how employer-missteps could lead to costly lawsuits.
After becoming a member of the California Bar, Siri took the opportunity to enlist in the U.S. Navy Reserves in order to fulfill his calling to serve his country. He then spent a year in Great Lakes, IL completing both Navy boot camp and electronics A-school with highest military distinction. Upon transitioning back to a hybrid civilian-military life, he earned his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and quickly progressed in both military and civilian spheres.
Now with years of substantive experience in both law and HR, Siri founded PractiCali Law to provide employers with practical solutions for complex employment matters.
In his free time, Siri enjoys softball, cooking, brushing up on his French, video games, musical instruments, and volunteering with local nonprofits. As a native of NorCal and a son of Khmer Rouge refugees, he values hard work and resourcefulness.
